About The Role
Working from a modern gatehouse, you will manage site access, communicate closely with TGE operations, and ensure accurate, real‑time data capture for all vehicle and driver movements.
Key Responsibilities
* Preventing unauthorised entry to site
* Completing accurate data entry into live national Excel spreadsheets (driver and vehicle information)
* Communicating frequently with TGE operations via two‑way radio and phone systems
* Conducting site inductions as required
* Monitoring CCTV, access control, and electronic security systems
* Recording incidents, breaches, and operational information
* Maintaining a strong security presence while supporting site flow and safety
* Remaining at post during shifts (breaks taken at post when practical)
Work Environment
* Monday to Friday rotating roster
* 8‑hour shifts: 0600–1400, 1400–2200, 2200–0600
* Occasional public holiday and weekend work may be required
* Modern, fully heated and air‑conditioned gatehouse
* Free, secure on‑site parking
* Fast‑paced logistics environment requiring focus and adaptability
Mandatory Requirements
* Current Security Licence – Cert II
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Drivers Licence
* Excellent data entry and computer skills (Excel essential)
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly Regarded
* Previous gatehouse, transport, or logistics site experience
* CCTV and access control system experience
* Familiarity with high‑volume vehicle movements
