Due to continued growth, an excellent Permanent Full-Time career opportunity has arisen for an experienced On Highway Supervisor to lead our On Highway Team in our Darwin workshop.
Responsibilities include;
* Achieve and exceed annual financial operating targets for revenue, gross margin and expenses.
* Direct the Service Department to ensure that efficiencies in operation are achieved and monitored, quality work is produced and customer needs are satisfied.
* Enhance the customer experience and value offered within all aspects of the Service Department.
* Drive an ongoing improvement culture in Safety, Quality and Productivity for the Service Department.
* Assist with the development of the Service Team in order to enhance the personal development of employees to achieve consistent and effective service delivery and overall quality customer service.
* General supervision and responsibility for On Highway areas that aim to meet customer schedules and maximise resource availability and capability.
* Lead and coach technicians in repair routines promoting safety and quality in all aspects of the workshop environment providing input into training and development areas.
* Promote productivity and efficiency improvements with all technicians to maximise profitability and efficiency with a focus on customer satisfaction by working towards achieving customer schedules for return of vehicles.
About You
* Trade Qualifications - Diesel Mechanic or similar
* At least 5 years' experience in the Heavy Vehicle or Engine Business.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and motivating a workforce.
* Experience in understanding and interpreting business financial information.
* Ability to understand and grasp technical product information and product resolution
* Demonstrated skills in managing customer relationships
* Experience in managing Budgets (Capital and Revenue).
* Leadership and supervisory skills.
