Dynamix Fabrication is looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our production team.
If you've worked with sheet metal and understand how to set up and run a brake properly, this is a solid opportunity in a well-equipped workshop with steady work.
About the Workshop
We specialize in sheet metal, steel, and aluminium fabrication, supporting Select Switchboards, Custom Works Boat Manufacturing, and external projects.
Our workshop runs modern CNC equipment including laser cutting, turret punch, and press brakes. Work is consistent and requires accuracy and attention to detail.
Your Role
You will be responsible for:
* Setting up and operating CNC press brakes
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Selecting correct tooling and setting bend sequences
* Producing parts to required tolerances
* Checking your own work for accuracy and quality
* Working with the team to meet production deadlines
* Maintaining a clean and safe work area
What We're Looking For
* Experience operating CNC press brakes
* Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
* Good understanding of bend allowances and material behaviour
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable and able to work in a team environment
* Trade qualification preferred but not essential
Desirable
* Experience with Deratech or similar CNC machines
* Forklift or High Risk Licence
* General sheet metal fabrication experience
* Welding experience
