A Federal Government agency is currently seeking two experienced EL1 Scrum Masters to lead and coordinate sensitive and high-impact projects. These roles will involve managing a range of complex processes and ensuring alignment with strategic and operational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Manage project scope, timelines, and forward planning.
* Work within Agile methodologies to support feature design and align with Waterfall approaches for forward planning of key design dates.
* Use project management tools to map out deliverables and dependencies.
* Monitor overall team progress, capture project status, and proactively address risks, issues, and actions.
* Maintain RAID logs using consistent templates and tools.
* Support Domain Owners in resource planning using standard tools and templates.
* Coordinate sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
* Coach team members in both Agile and Waterfall frameworks to increase project maturity.
* Collaborate with Product and Domain Owners to manage product backlogs and handle new requests.
* Foster a productive and accountable team environment.
* Ensure project governance aligns with agency frameworks and escalate issues as necessary.
About You:
* Strong experience managing project scope and timelines.
* Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
* Skilled in coordinating Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
* Experienced in coaching teams in Scrum and Agile practices.
* Capable of managing backlogs and prioritizing new requests.
* Able to guide teams to higher performance and maturity in delivery practices.
* Comfortable managing governance and ensuring compliance with agency frameworks.
* Flexible and proactive in supporting cross-functional squads.
