Description Your new role Position – Senior Case Officer Team/Department – Reconsiderations Team Location – Hybrid – 3 days in Canberra office Employment type – Permanent full-time About the Role - The Senior Case Officer will work in the Reconsiderations team undertaking Case Management for a range of reconsideration requests, for all CSC administered schemes. These will include death and invalidity claims, as well as various superannuation benefit related matters. Key Responsibilities The role or purpose of the Reconsiderations Senior Case Officer is as follows: Managing an individual caseload, performing full investigations and applying the relevant legislation in all matters and providing thorough communication with customers throughout the entire process; Compile extensive information and draft papers on behalf of the Committee’s and Panel; Liaise with other areas of the business to ensure a smooth process is experienced by the customer, whether it is prior to, or after a case has been finalised; and Contribute to the team in both seeking and providing guidance, looking for efficiencies and assisting in additional tasks where required. This role will be offered as hybrid – office and work from home with 3 days per week in our modern and collaborative office spaces (Tues – Thurs). Skills And Experiences What you’ll need to excel You must be an Australian Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance. You must be based in Canberra and attend the office 3 days per week.
