The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Splash Park Attendee to join our Leisure Centre Team on a casual basis. The role involves supervising patrons at the Kununurra Splash Park to ensure safety and enjoyment. Responsibilities include:
* Supervising water bodies and providing first aid and emergency assistance when necessary;
* Monitoring patron behavior and addressing inappropriate conduct;
* Delivering high-quality customer service;
* Providing information on Splash Park rules, hours, and facilities;
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the Park, including cleaning slides, grounds, and change rooms.
A current Provide First Aid Certificate, WA Working with Children Check, and Bronze Medallion/Water Rescues competency are essential.
This position is for a 12-month period, with casual appointments based on vacancies. No guarantee of ongoing employment.
Salary and Benefits
Hourly rate up to $38.08 (including allowances and superannuation), dependent on skills and experience. Benefits include:
* 11.5% superannuation, with optional additional 3% co-contribution;
