About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Retail Data Administrator.
The Retail Technology team oversees independent grocery, liquor and convenience retail partners, ensuring they have the right systems, processes and data to streamline their store operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring data exchanged with retailers is timely and of quality. You will also ensure that our internal tracking data is managed efficiently.

In this Role
* Develop a deep understanding of data flows between Metcash, retailers, and external partners.
* Learn and manage systems that create, monitor, and move data through the business.
* Maintain product and customer promotional data to ensure accurate in-store execution and rebate payments.
* Collaborate with retail system partners to improve interface reliability and data quality.
* Work with internal teams to manage data and improve processes, acting as an agent of change when needed.
* Document data processing and management, create training materials, and provide backup support for the Retail Team Help Desk team.

You're Likely a Match If
* You have retail experience with back-office functions (ideally in the grocery or liquor industry).
* Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
* You have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
* You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, both at technical and customer service levels.
* You have a positive attitude and the ability to 'do-what-needs-doing' to support our field service and helpdesk teams, while still performing the primary role of ensuring timely data flow at the required level of quality.
