**Restaurant Supervisor - Collingwood**
**The Company**
My Client has well known and award winning venues spanning across both Melbourne and Queensland. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to take the lead in their food and beverage service in their Collingwood Venue. This venue is a Southern US-style Pub, Restaurant and smokehouse. Showcasing a private dining room, main dining, bar & beer garden. it is a space perfect for all occasions and a local favourite for watching live sports
**The Role**
Reporting to the Venue Manager, The Restaurant Supervisor is a vital part of this venue's leadership team You will be responsible for the planning, organisation, direction, and coordination of employees and resources of the venue ensuring the efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food and beverages.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Running food and beverage service and ensuring staff are allocated effectively in their sections
- Management of daily takings and till reconciliations
- Performance management and training of employees
- Oversee of service, ensuring that high standards are consistently met and assisting the team in a hands-on capacity during peak periods or as needed
- Ensure table allocations and appropriate levels of stock are done ahead of time
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food / beverage quality and service
- Oversee the receipt of stock deliveries, verifying contents & quality
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Bar Manager and Venue Manager to effectively promote menus and wine / beverages to complement menu items and train front of house staff for the presentation to customers
- Implement activities and schemes in an effort to maximise sales and profit
- Ensure that the company complies with requirements for quality management, hygiene, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), environmental policies and general duty of care.
**What you bring to the role**
- To be successful in this role, you'll need exceptional customer service and people management skills, coupled with experience operating in a similar role and calibre of venue.
- Current RSA preferred
- Proven skills and experience with POS and common Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work well under pressure
