Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic financial direction and guidance to the organisation. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced finance professional with a strong track record of delivering financial results and implementing effective financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and forecasts to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability and growth.
* Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including the CEO, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies.
* Financial Management: Oversee the management of the organisation's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks that may impact the organisation's financial performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Business Degree or Equivalent: A degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
* CA or CPA Qualified: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualifications are highly desirable.
* Senior Finance Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role is required.
* Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive organisational growth.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with senior executives, stakeholders, and staff at all levels.

The Chief Financial Officer will be based in Swansea or Scottsdale, Tasmania, and will be required to travel occasionally to meet with stakeholders and attend meetings.
