Qualifications
* Teradata Generic: Teradata architecture knowledge
* Knowledge on Data warehousing principles and practices.
* Teradata SQL knowledge (critical for the role)
* Knowledge on Teradata tools and utilities
* Informatic basic level knowledge
* Working knowledge on Unix commands
* Experience on Jams scheduler (preferred) or any other job scheduler tools like Autosys
* Knowledge on SVN (or any code version control tools)
* Knowledge on ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticket management
* Teradata DBA
* Experience on Teradata Admin activities
* Experience working on Teradata Vantage on AWS and Teradata database version upgrades
* Knowledge of Viewpoint and different portlets in Viewpoint for system health monitoring
* Query performance optimization
* Knowledge on Data Mover tool for data copy across environments
* Co-ordinating with Teradata vendor team (raising tickets etc.) for resolution of DB related issues
* Knowledge on data backup and restore process and concepts
