 
        
        An experienced and volume Payroll Officer is needed for a temporary position centrally on the Gold Coast!

They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the company's payroll. This includes calculating wages, processing employee tax and other deductions, and preparing payroll reports.
**Your new role**
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining employee payroll records, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing payroll for all employees including calculating and processing payroll, bonuses, and overtime payments. 
- Maintaining employee records including salary, benefits, and deductions. 
- Calculating wages, taxes, and other deductions according to company policies and government regulations. 
- Responding to payroll-related enquiries from employees and management and resolving any issues in a timely manner.

To be successful in this position, you will have experience in a similar role, in a quick-paced and busy professional environment. Your experience will include but are not limited to:
- Experience in payroll processing or a related field. 
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, procedures and reporting requirements. 
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll software such as Netsuite 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
