Office Administrator – Civil Construction
Full-time | Sydney
We are a small and growing civil construction company based in Sydney and are seeking a reliable and efficient Office Administrator to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, professional, and confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* General office administration and support
* Invoicing (outgoing), accounts receivable and payable
* Payroll assistance and timesheet coordination
* Managing and maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Answering phones and handling client enquiries professionally
* Following company SOPs and internal processes
* Supporting management and operations team as required
* Comfortable working to KPIs & weekly targets
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in an administration role (construction industry highly regarded)
* Minimum 1-2 years of administration experience required
* Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
* Experience with DashPivot or similar systems (preferred)
* Confident using Microsoft Office
* Excellent work ethic, attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and professional phone manner
* Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
* Reliable, proactive, and able to manage workload independently
What We Offer:
* Full-time position – Monday to Friday
* Salary: $65,000 + Super (based on experience)
* 4 weeks paid annual leave (accrued)
* 10 days paid personal/sick leave (accrued)
* 3-month probation period
