Job Description
OSHC Assistant Educators are required to provide high-quality care and education for children in a safe and engaging environment during Outside School Hours Care. The role involves delivering daily activities that are fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children
* Supervise and support children
* Prepare and serve healthy food options
* Create an engaging and happy environment for children
* Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Engaging and warm personality
* Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards) or equivalent
* Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
* First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
* Child Protection Certificate
