**About the role**
With responsibility for the development and execution of Dan Murphy’s digital content across social media, influencer and editorial, you will play a key role in driving our ambitious content marketing strategy forward to be the #1 trend leader in the drinks category.
Leading and managing a team of four content and social media specialists, you will empower and develop your team to continually develop their capability and confidence to deliver Dan Murphy’s content program, leading the creative development and production of content for effectiveness and efficiency.
You will lead reporting for the content team and draw upon insights, data and cultural trends to effectively construct the content calendar in line with business objectives and effective engagement.
You’ll work with the Head of Content to build and continually evolve the content strategy, ensuring overall brand voice and visual experience is aligned and supporting our objectives as well as defining Dan Murphy’s content approach for specific channels.
With exceptional stakeholder management skills, you will build robust relationships both internally and externally to effectively execute the content strategy, including marketing campaign, eCommerce & merchandise teams and agency partners.
**About you**
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in content marketing, social media and creative production.
To be successful, you'll have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in content marketing, social media strategy and execution.
- A strong digital marketing skill set, with experience in content management, social media, influencer and online marketing.
- Proven experience in production management at scale.
- Proficiency across systems including CMS, Google Analytics and Social Media tools is favourable.
- Proven experience in people leadership, with the ability to coach and develop.
- Proven ability to develop strategy and budget management.
- Strong attention to detail and creative copywriting skills.
- Creative and analytical mindset.
- Retail industry experience is favourable, with knowledge of the liquor industry.
- An ability to be ‘hands on’, you are curious about the why and focused on outcomes.
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing or similar.
- Ability to work autonomously with little direction and to manage ambiguity well.
