About the Position
WorkPac is seeking an experienced Shutdown Supervisor to join our client's expanding team in the WA mining sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage comprehensive shutdown plans, coordinating resources and timelines.
* Lead, motivate, and ensure the safety of the team on-site.
* Ensure clear communication and regular updates for all stakeholders.
* Troubleshoot problems and ensure all work meets industry standards and company policies.
* Oversee resource management, time management, and documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
* 3-5 years of experience in the mining industry, specifically with shutdowns and large-scale maintenance projects.
* Current IRATA Certification.
* Nationally accredited Working at Heights and Confined Space (within 3 years).
* Experience with Rio Tinto, BHP, or FMG inductions is a bonus.
* A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol screening.
