Your responsibilities You are a practitioner/team member of the Quality Engineering & Testing Capability Community of Practice (CoP). Design, build and maintain a test automation suite using Java, Python, gherkin and bamboo. Planning and development of quality test approach, test design and test cases for Systems under this team. Implement and execute test cases according to documented test design and time frames. Document results and report defects. Work closely with BAs, Developers, Support Analysts and Business Stakeholders to ensure understanding of the requirements and to communicate test status and issues. Document test results for sign off so releases can get promoted to production. Work closely with external vendors who provide automation solutions for different products and manage weekly updates. Learn and use of automation tools developed internally and externally. Review work done by external automation vendors and provided feedback. Being an active member of the QE&T Community of Practice (CoP). Your experience and qualifications Must have Have about 4 to 5 years of experience in test automation. Experience in test automation and automation principals and strategies. Designed, build and maintained test automation frameworks using JAVA. Designed, build and maintained test automation frameworks using Python. In-depth testing experience in a structured environment. Experience in system, system integration, regression, end-to-end, & parallel testing. Experience in testing futures/ derivatives products or clearing systems. Experience in test environment and test data setup. Worked as part of medium to large sized project teams. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and confluence. Ability to multi-task and be comfortable with frequently changing priorities. Nice to have Agile experience. Experienced in test automation and test automation tools. Experience in test automation with JAVA. Experience in test automation with Python or Python scripting. Exposure to git, bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle build tools. Exposure to Junit, cucumber testing tools. Exposure to API testing, XML or any tag based language. Experience working in a CI/CD environment. Experience in SQL Server integration and SQL.
