About the applicant:
We're looking for team members that love the hospitality and tourism industry, enjoy meeting and serving people and work well in a supportive team environment. Good communication skills and presentation is essential.
Food and beverage experience is highly desirable including bar and restaurant service in a busy pub environment. Barista and food preparation experience in a commercial environment is also an advantage.
About the Normanville Hotel:
The Normanville Hotel has been serving locals and visitors to the Fleurieu Coast since 1851. The hotel has been family operated for over 50 years. It has undergone a series of major renovations over that time to achieve the beautiful and modern venue we enjoy today.
The hotel has 3 bars, large dining spaces (including a beer garden), gaming and a stand-alone bottleshop.
The position(s):
The Normanville Hotel is seeking Casual Food & Beverage staff to work in a supportive and motivated team and provide excellent customer service in the bottleshop, bar and restaurant environments. These roles report to Hotel Supervisors and Managers and work alongside bar and restaurant team members. A combination of day, night and weekend work mainly between 10am and 10pm is expected in positions of this type.
Depending on experience, the position may lead a small team or join as a team member. Candidates must be over 18 and have completed Responsible Service of Alcohol training to be considered for bar and bottleshop positions.
Regular duties include:
* Providing timely, friendly and confident customer service
* Communicating with Supervisors and team members to ensure seamless service
* Preparing, clearing and packing down work stations
* Stock control including receiving, counting and rotating stock
