About The Opportunity

The role of Procurement Commercial Manager is to collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders and deliver commercial outcomes that align with Bupa APAC’s enterprise strategy.

Procurement partners with key business stakeholders to achieve consistent commercial practices, simplify governance, and promote repeatable policies and procedures. They develop key commercial capabilities, promote consistency in methodologies, and support business requirements.

This Is A Fixed-Term Position

You will add value by:

* Supporting the broader APAC Procurement team and contributing individually to deliver agreed commercial outcomes, including cost reduction, improved payment terms, improved speed to market, improvements in customer experience, and quality of service to internal stakeholders
* Engaging and influencing key business stakeholders to deliver outcomes, collaborating with key business stakeholders and other Procurement team members
* Supporting the Portfolio Manager and Head of Procurement by partnering with stakeholders across the APAC business to resolve competing priorities as they arise
* Leading the end-to-end sourcing process in accordance with company processes, including stakeholder engagement, strategy development, baseline validation, RFx management, supplier negotiations, contract finalisation, and stakeholder interactions during and after the sourcing process

What Do You Need?

- Relevant graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, or Law

- Experience in commercial management from strategy development to execution

- Extensive experience in leading successful commercial negotiations with evidence of applied innovative thinking, persuasiveness, and negotiation skills, and strategic negotiation planning

- Experience working effectively within a matrix-style organisation, including at global level

- Strong business, commercial, and financial acumen
