Offender Rehabilitation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Offender Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in the Northern Territory.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking specialist assessment, treatment and management of complex and high-risk offenders. This will involve providing staff training on offender management principles and contributing to research in treatment and assessment of offenders with a focus on Aboriginal offenders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Undertake assessments and deliver treatment to address criminogenic risk and psychological needs of offenders.
2. Generate psychological and risk assessment reports.
3. Develop offence-specific program manuals and staff training packages.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in psychology with eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society. You must also have demonstrated experience in criminogenic assessment, treatment and risk management of high-risk offenders, as well as expertise in the assessment and delivery of psychological interventions for non-criminogenic needs.
