About The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Associate – Health Facilities Planner to join our Perth studio and contribute to the delivery of major health and science projects across Australia.
You'll work closely with project leaders and technical specialists to shape environments that support clinical quality, operational efficiency and long-term community benefit.
This position suits someone who thrives on collaboration, can uphold design integrity, and has the capability to communicate confidently with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver architectural design and documentation for complex Health & Science projects, ensuring outcomes are both functional and compelling.
Work with teams to develop and refine client briefs, maintaining strong communication with clients, consultants and contractors.
Partner with project leads to support design excellence and carry design intent throughout all project stages.
Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams including architects, engineers and health planners to create purpose-built clinical environments.
Manage the delivery of technical and design documentation aligned with quality, program and budget expectations.
Support knowledge-sharing initiatives, team development and mentoring where appropriate.
Lead departmental planning activities and facilitate stakeholder engagement workshops.
Continuously refine design responses in line with user needs, regulations and contemporary healthcare standards.
About You
You're an experienced Health Facility Planner who understands the flow, functionality, efficiency and clinical requirements of modern healthcare environments.
You balance technical rigor with a people-first mindset and are passionate about creating adaptable, safe and sustainable spaces.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
8+ years post-graduate experience
Proven recent experience in health and hospital planning and design
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey design concepts visually
Proficiency in Revit and dRofus
