Job Description
Senior Test Analyst role working within our Jetstar Technology TeamWorking on challenging and exciting initiatives12-month role based at our Collingwood head office (hybrid working options available)
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst with strong domain knowledge in aviation, MRO, or complex supply chain environments to play a key role in ensuring systems meet business, engineering, and operational requirements
We are embarking on a major Aviation Supply Chain Transformation Program that will modernise the way we manage inventory, repairs, procurement, and end‑to‑end MRO supply chain operations.
As a Senior Test Analyst, you will support the full testing lifecycle across multiple workstreams within the transformation program. You will work closely with SMEs from Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement & Repairs, ensuring all new system features, integrations, and data flows operate seamlessly across the end‑to‑end aircraft engineering maintenance supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps across inventory, repairs, procurement, and supplier workflows. Identify test scope, scenarios, conditions, and acceptance criteria for SIT, E2E, regression, and UAT.Develop detailed test cases in test management tools such as XRAY, Zephyr, ALM or ADO aligned to: Inventory management (stock visibility, provisioning, demand signals, replenishment),Assess impacts to upstream/downstream systems including ERP, MRO systems, procurement platforms, supplier portals, and logistics systems.Execute SIT/E2E test cycles and verify integrations, messages, and payloads (API/EDI/XML/JSON/SPEC2000).Perform data validation involving part masters, rotables, vendor catalogs, repair history, and financial mapping.Prepare daily status reports, test cycle summaries, and go‑live readiness assessments.Coordinate with developers, vendors technical representatives, system integrators, Business SMEs, and business owners to ensure timely resolution.Contribute to success of the Software Testing Practice by sharing knowledge, suggesting improvements and heling create templates and best practicesValidate user workflows, exception handling, and operational readiness for go‑live.
You’ll Have
Proven experience as a Senior/Test Analyst within large transformation programs.Preferably strong understanding of aviation, utilities, energy, or complex supply chain operations, particularly: Inventory & warehouse operations, Repair management (rotable/repairable components), Procurement & supplier collaborationLogistics and AOG processes,Experience testing integrations and APIs between ERP/MRO systems and external platforms.Hands on experience with test management tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM, XRAY, Zephyr).Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Innovative and pragmatic testing and quality delivery mindsetStrong preference on supply chain transformation experiencePrevious airlines or aviation engineering or airline operations / experience preferable but not requiredHave experience and employed AI tools and / or innovative ways of working in their recent assignments
