About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Intern Pharmacist to join our fast-paced, growing business. We're opening a brand-new store in Morayfield, and we're looking for passionate Intern Pharmacists who are ready to kickstart their professional journey and build their career from the ground up.
Join Chemist Warehouse, providing affordable health care to all Australians. Our stores are busy and full of energy, and you'll be supported by experienced Pharmacists and a great team as you put your studies into practice. You'll gain real-world experience, structured learning, and the mentorship you need to succeed as a future registered Pharmacist.
About the Program
Our Intern Pharmacist Program combines hands-on training with structured learning to give you a well-rounded start to your career.
You'll gain exposure to:
* Dispensing medications and supporting prescription processing
* Delivering patient care and providing health advice
* Participating in clinical services and health promotion programs
* Managing stock, inventory, and ordering processes
* Supporting dispensary administration and documentation
* Building leadership, communication, and business management skills
Each Intern Pharmacist will also have:
* A dedicated onsite preceptor for mentoring and guidance
* Access to monthly interactive training sessions covering clinical pharmacy, retail management, and pharmacology
* Practice oral exams and exclusive exam prep resources
* Ongoing professional support from facilitators and coordinators throughout the year
Upon successful completion, you'll have opportunities to advance into roles such as Pharmacist, Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacist Manager, Area Manager, and even Pharmacy Owner within the Chemist Warehouse network.

About You
We'd love to hear from you if you:
* Have completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Pharmacy and are eligible for your intern year
* Are enthusiastic about community pharmacy and helping people
* Work well both independently and as part of a team
* Have excellent communication and customer service skills
* Are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
* Are committed to developing your clinical and professional skills
