Responsibilities
The Role
- Our Registered Nurses perform reception screening and comprehensive health assessments for all persons received into custody, while assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing management.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- At least one full year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- A current NSW Driver Licence.
Location
Macquarie Correctional Centre houses maximum-security male offenders and is a 10 minute drive from the Wellington town centre, 354km northwest of Sydney. It is located adjacent to the Wellington Correctional Centre.
