Responsibilities
* Reviewcustomer contracts for application of appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
* Create and maintaincomplexrevenue recognitioncontract templateswhich capture total contract value, billings, the standard selling price allocation and revenue recognized
* Analyze billing and software go-live datato support proper revenue recognition
* Preparerevenue journal entries and deferredrevenue balance sheet account reconciliations androllforwardsand analysis of unusual or significant changes
* Assist with updating and maintaining the revenue recognition policy memoand the standaloneselling price analysis
* Assist with theimprovement ofrevenue recognition processes and controls through cross-functional interactions with salesand implementation teams
* SupportFinancial Planning and Analysis team withrevenue forecasting and delivering revenue metrics and reporting
* Supportthe maintenance ofaccurate customerproduct and contract records in Salesforce CPQ
* Support the annualexternal audit
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree orhigherin Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
* 1+yearsexperiencein revenue accounting,auditorgeneral accountingpreferred
* Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform functions like V-lookup and Pivot Table, as well asability tounderstand more complex formulas
* Working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality work
* Ability to work independentlyand consistently meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills; able to deliver messages effectivelybothverbally and in writing

Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $72k to $80k (annualized USD) in addition to potential bonus.
