As part of this expansion, they are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused leader to join the executive team as Head of Renewables and Energy Projects. This is a unique, ground-floor opportunity to shape and lead a high-impact division within one of Australia's fastest-growing and most vital industries.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving growth strategies, operations, and commercial growth in large scale renewable projects across solar, BESS, wind and power generation sectors throughout Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the business strategy for large-scale renewable energy and power generation projects across Australia.
* Manage end-to-end logistics for complex, utility-scale energy projects, including heavy lift, oversized cargo, multimodal transport, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Lead major contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and full P&L accountability, ensuring revenue and margin growth within the renewable energy division.
* Recruit, mentor, and manage a specialist logistics team while developing internal capabilities in renewable project handling and delivery.
* Act as a thought leader and brand ambassador at conferences, forums, and with key stakeholders across the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
Key Requirements:
* 10+ years in logistics, supply chain, or project management, preferably within renewable energy or major infrastructure projects.
* Deep knowledge of renewable energy supply chains, specialised transport needs, and familiarity with Australian market players and regulations.
* Proven skills in P&L management, complex B2B contract negotiations, and strategic business growth.
* Strong track record in building high-performing teams and managing relationships at all organisational levels, including C-suite.
* Ability to develop new business lines, solve complex problems, exceed targets, and travel domestically and internationally as required.
