The opportunity
We're hiring FIFO (Fly In / Fly Out) Head Chefs from Brisbane and nearby suburbs on an 8:6 roster for Fulltime Employment.
Working closely with the Village Management team, you'll be responsible for delivering high‐quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner—while proudly upholding ISS's reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.
* Competitive Annual Wage – $110,000 - $120,000 plus super

To be considered
* Experience as a Head Chef in a commercial kitchen (essential).
* Must have Australian Trade Qualification of Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher
* Proven experience as a chef in high‐volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
* Experience in mining village operations (Desirable)
* Must have a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia
* Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
* Must pass a Pre‐employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
* Driver's License/ Photo ID required
* Demonstrate a proactive, solutions‐focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
