**The role**:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will demonstrate general all-around administration and accounting ability in delivering accurate and timely accounting support across the branch.
This is a diverse position with building strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally whilst working within workplace health and safety and operational requirements being a key part of the role.
**Requirements/Responsibilities**:
As the Accounts Officer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the Group Financial Controller across the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting.
- Bank reconciliation - credit cards, reimbursements, bank statements, petty cash, EFTPOS
- Maintaining Customer Account Records
- Prepare BAS
- Assistance with Marketing / Advertising as required
- Assistance with Reporting
- Monitor and collect outstanding funds
- Accounts Receivable
- Process incoming funds
- Prepare invoices for customers
- Payroll admin/processing
- General banking
- Goods receipting
- Administration-related tasks (mail, filing, general administration assistance)
- Ensure adherence to Workplace Health & Safety requirements and other Company Policies and Procedures

- Previous accounts receivable / accounts payable experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word - Intermediate)

**Desirable**:
- Distribution, warehousing, wholesale industry experience
