The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of high-profile sports events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional attendee experiences. This involves developing comprehensive event operations plans, coordinating logistics, managing teams, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement event operations plans to support the delivery of sports events
2. Coordinate and oversee on-site logistics, including venue set-up, staffing, equipment management, and health and safety
3. Liaise with key stakeholders, including event contractors, venue managers, and suppliers
4. Monitor event progress and make timely decisions to address any issues or challenges that arise
5. Manage a team of event staff, providing leadership, training, and support

Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of sports event management/operations experience
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including the capacity to motivate and encourage a team
* A passion for sports and delivering exceptional event experiences
* Australian work rights are required for this position
