As a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), you will play a vital leadership and clinical support role, providing expert advice, care coordination, and consultancy in community health. These contract-based roles offer the opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes in diverse rural populations. Responsibilities Deliver advanced clinical expertise in community and primary health care. Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing and allied health staff. Develop and implement care plans tailored to community needs. Collaborate with local healthcare providers, Indigenous health services, and public health teams. Support chronic disease management, preventative health programs, and outreach services. Requirements Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in community health or primary care. ALS & Triage Experience in acute or care settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to culturally safe and person-centred care. Willingness to travel and adapt to remote and rural environments.
