The Opportunity
The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Service Level 5/6 PSL5 Project Officer & PSL6 Senior Project Officer within Property Services.
Project Officers will develop, oversee and analyse project aims and objectives, undertake financial reporting activities and maintain project management knowledge to provide advice and technical expertise to assist guiding project activities. They will also interpret client needs to formulate the scope of projects and deliver quality outcomes.
The successful applicants will be expected to provide high quality delivery outcomes and establish strong stakeholder relationships in a unique operating environment. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to implement modern project methodology models, and have an excellent understanding of Government procurement, finance and governance requirements.

* High level analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Previous experience in project and contract management, as well as procurement management.
* Sound understanding Knowledge of the Commonwealth guidelines and legislative frameworks including the PGPA Act and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
