Role Overview
The NSW Police Force Public Affairs Branch is in need of a media officer, to be based in Sydney.
Responsibilities
* Process media enquiries.
* Prepare releases and ministerial announcements.
* Help organise official activities that promote the Force's reputation.
* Observe crime scenes to guide media personnel on the ground about progress of on‐site investigations.
Qualifications
* Australian citizens or permanent residents (plus New Zealand citizens).
* Extensive experience in journalism, public relations, and issues management.
* Capable of intra‐state travel and working long hours.
* Must undergo full background and security clearance checks.
