Our resort requires a person who will work 4 to 6 days per week on the following:
Common areas cleaning & maintenance:
· Clean and maintain gardens and other outdoor common areas.
o Ensure plants in good condition, well-trimmed etc.
o Mow grass as needed.
o Care & maintenance for all potted plants.
o Dispose of dead leaves etc (blower, sweeping, raking etc).
· Clean and maintain outdoor furniture; maintain appearance of outdoor areas to a high “resort style” standard.
· Clean and maintain pool and associated equipment: daily chemical testing; clean out debris, daily cleaning using in-pool equipment; add needed chemicals to maintain levels; backwash and rinse filtration system.
· Clean external windows and doors.
· Stairwells – clean and take off webs, clean light fittings etc.
· Clean BBQs and take used kits to laundry; restock kits to ensure full.
· Bins – empty and clean daily.
· Painting and other maintenance projects around the resort. Basic drill use knowledge required. Able to sand and hang doors, replace tiles that have lifted or drill nails into walls hang painting.
Maintain Linen stores & stock
· Linen count and stock management – book in arrivals; maintain stock levels; assist in orders to ensure no out of stock.
· Lift linen bags and pack away linen in storeroom; move dirty linen to disposal area.
· Help strip beds or clean in rooms if cleaners need extra help
Street:
· Clean roadside and grass area of rubbish
· Check wall is clean and no vegetation growing through
· Maintain external appearance of resort as clean and tidy.
Unit Maintenance:
· Basic – small fixes only otherwise we use contractors.
· Fix taps, toilet seats, aircons, tv set up or reset if past guest logins are up still.
· Small repairs to furniture and fixtures where tradesperson is not required.
Must have an eye for detail so we maintain a high quality resort style finish to our areas.
