OMG Engineering are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team based at Maddington workshop. We are offering above award rates, min 38 hours per week with an opportunity for overtime.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist that is experienced in programming, setting up jobs, knowledge of day-to-day workshop procedures and processes.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5-10 years of proven CNC machinist experience.
Our ideal candidate will be competent using CNC Mill and Lathes to machine a varied assortment of jobs 1 offs and multiple runs. Ideally you will be familiar operating the latest Okuma lathes/mills.
You will maintain a safe and clean work environment and have an unwavering commitment to safety.
OMG Engineering have the capabilities and industry credentials to handle a diverse range of engineering projects from initial concept to completion, specialising in drafting, detailed design, fabrication, machining and fitting. Our workshop utilises the latest technology to deliver fast and precise workmanship to the highest standard, ensuring our valued clients minimise down time, and increase the productivity and service life of their equipment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as CNC Machinist
* Australian recognised Trade Certificates
* Machining Certificate III qualification is required
* Experience with operating the latest Okuma CNC lathes/mills is desirable, but training will be provided to the right candidate
