As a Butcher at Country Style Meats, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. **Meat Preparation**: Skillfully cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, to meet customer specifications.
2. **Product Knowledge**: Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the different cuts of meat and their optimal preparation methods to provide expert advice to customers.
3. **Customer Service**: Engaging with customers to understand their needs, making recommendations, and providing information about our products, including our award-winning sausages and smoked meats.
4. **Safety and Hygiene**: Adhering to strict health and safety regulations, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of meat products to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.
5. **Inventory Management**: Assisting with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring that the display cases are well-stocked and organized.
6. **Equipment Maintenance**: Regularly cleaning and maintaining butcher tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.
7. **Sales Support**: Collaborating with team members to promote and sell products, including special promotions or new items, helping to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
8. **Team Collaboration**: Working alongside other staff members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment, contributing to the overall success of the store.
