About the Role
We're looking for a Videographer / Editor with experience in construction or property/ real estate content.
If you've filmed walkthroughs, builds, renos or project showcases, you'll step straight into the workflow.
The role will begin as a fixed 3-month contract to ensure it's the right fit both ways, with strong potential to move into a part-time or full-time position.
This is a hands-on, varied role — a mix of on-site filming, editing, and working directly with clients and our team across both businesses.
Candidates must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this position.
What You'll Be Doing
Filming property and real estate content with Ward Visuals
Creating brand and social content for Mirata Digital clients
Editing full projects with a focus on pacing, colour and storytelling
Managing your workflow across multiple projects at once
Representing the brand professionally when working with clients
Collaborating with our team to plan, refine and execute creative ideas
What We're Looking For
Experience in videography and post-production (property experience preferred)
Confident in the Adobe Suite (After Effects is a bonus)
Reliable, organised, and professional with clients
Based in or around Newcastle with a current driver licence and transport

Gear & Requirements
To hit the ground running, you should already have:
Candidates must own most of the required equipment before starting the role.
A mirrorless or cinema camera setup (Canon, Sony or equivalent)
Gimbal or stabiliser suitable for property walkthroughs
Lavalier Audio Recording setup e.g. Rode
Laptop or desktop capable of editing 4K footage smoothly
Drone experience is a plus but not essential
Consistent, reliable work
Creative ownership across projects, direction and client relationships
Exposure to premium brands and industries across property and trades
Access to resources like office space, production support and systems
Commission and performance bonuses for hitting KPIs and personal goals
