You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.As the CNC Recovery / PACU Role, your responsibilities will include:Overseeing safe, quality care that aligns with current best practicesSupporting and liaising with the Perioperative Services Manager, staff, and VMO anesthetistsUnderstanding legislative requirements, ACORN standards, and sterilization protocolsKnowledge of accreditation processes and quality/risk managementAbout usWith 120 inpatient surgical and medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit, and an ICU, Sunnybank Private Hospital has been serving our community for over 40 years, committed to holistic, high-quality patient care.Current registration with AHPRAPrevious experience in a CN / Recovery / PACU role, or at least 3-4 years practicing as an anesthetic nurse in a team leader capacityCompleted relevant postgraduate qualifications or willing to commence within 12 months of appointmentCommitment to quality patient careCompliance with NSQHC national standardsStrong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skillsExperience in a similar role (desired)Excellent communication and customer service skillsHighly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyWhy Healthscope?Joining Healthscope means becoming part of our Community of Care.
