Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to develop AI-driven industrial asset management solutions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
You will design, deploy and maintain clean, efficient and well-documented Python code for industrial AI and data analytics solutions. You will build and maintain data processing pipelines and APIs, integrating data from operational, IoT and enterprise systems. You will also support AI/ML model development, testing and deployment into live operational environments.
As a member of the team, you will participate in rapid prototyping projects and iterative solution design within client sites. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists and domain specialists to define and implement technical solutions. You will prepare documentation, technical reports and deployment guides.
You will contribute to Agile development workflows and participate in team stand-ups, sprints and retrospectives. You will ensure compliance with company policies, including data security and defence contract requirements.
This role requires recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related fields. You should have proficiency in Python programming, an analytical mindset and problem-solving ability. You should also have understanding of data pipelines, APIs and database integration. Interest in AI/ML concepts and practical industrial applications is desirable.
The ideal candidate should be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivation and strong organisational skills are essential. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required) is mandatory.
