Senior Health Economist Role Overview
The senior health economist is responsible for leading the design, execution, and communication of economic evaluations that inform policy, access, and investment decisions in various disease areas and product types.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop Cost-Effectiveness Analyses: Design, execute, and communicate economic evaluations to inform policy, access, and investment decisions.
* Lead Economic Evaluations: Develop and lead the execution of economic evaluations across diverse disease areas and product types, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, public health programs, and social interventions.
* Apply Economic Methods: Apply economic methods to broader frameworks such as SROI and impact assessment to ensure high-quality and relevant outputs.
* Communicate Findings: Clearly present findings to technical and non-technical audiences through reports and presentations.
* Project Delivery: Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and relevance.
* Client Relationships: Contribute to client relationships, business development, and proposal writing.
* Capability-Building: Support internal capability-building and mentoring of junior staff.
