Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our care teams in delivering exceptional, person-centred services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide holistic leadership and ensure safe, effective, and health-promoting services tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Supervision: Lead by example, promoting excellence in health-promoting services and providing coaching to staff members. Monitor care delivery and ensure high-quality service provision.
* Clinical Care: Apply clinical judgement to assess and manage resident conditions, administer medications safely, and optimise medication use. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
* Person-Centred Care: Foster positive relationships with residents and their representatives, ensuring informed decision-making and co-designing care plans that respect individual preferences and values.
* Documentation and Governance: Maintain accurate progress notes, facilitate clear shift-to-shift handovers, and manage incidents promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and possession of a Provide First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care setting, with a strong understanding of supporting residents with dementia.
* Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in best practice clinical skills, excellent knowledge of Aged Care Standards and AN-ACC, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
