Electrical Services Business Development and Sales Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic candidate to fill a unique business development opportunity. This role requires a candidate with electrical trades or engineering background looking to progress their career into a technical sales position. Ideal candidate will have a proven ability to maintain and secure new business, meet set sales targets through identifying opportunities, closing sales deals, and delivering results.
* Liaise and negotiate with clients in commercial, defence, industrial and manufacturing industries for the provision of minor electrical repairs, modifications and upgrades.
* Qualify prospects, make effective sales presentations, and manage proposals to close sales.
* Identify maintenance agreement opportunities and provide leads to the sales team.
* Survey electrical systems, interpret drawings, equipment and job conditions.
* Quote and estimate for the work identified through preparation of timely, complete, clear and concise reports and proposals.
* Evaluate customer needs and address them in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate sales information capture for timely and internal sales reporting.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in electrical estimating and quoting within a commercial setting is essential.
* Electrical Trade or electrical engineer qualification is required.
* Technical sales experience in client-facing roles gained within the electrical industry managing key B2B service account relationships is advantageous.
* Well-developed computer skills.
* Ability to manage time and workload effectively and achieve KPIs.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to clients.
