**THE ROLE**:
Austrade is seeking a skilled analyst to join the Cyber Security and Risk team as the Cyber Risks and Assessments Analyst. This role will assist in the delivery of cyber security in Austrade, particularly in relation to governance, risk and compliance.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Preparing comprehensive risk assessments for Information Communications Technology (ICT) services in an Australian government setting.
- Devising policies, procedures and treatments to minimise risks to Austrade ICT systems.
- Maintaining registers and other assets for compliance reporting
- Conducting independent research, analysis and reporting on security vulnerabilities
- Engaging with internal stakeholders and vendor representatives to gather and synthesise information.
- Working collaboratively as part of a small, high performing team
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the agency through input to business planning
- Taking responsibility for the achievement of own outcomes, monitoring progress and following through in order to deliver quality results
- Contributing to service delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes, while upholding the Australian Public Service Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct and Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles
