Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Richmond and Bankstown, NSW (Dual-Site Requirement)
The Opportunity Airbus Australia Pacific is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This critical role is responsible for the strategic management and delivery of the employee lifecycle within designated client groups, ensuring that HR strategies are seamlessly integrated with evolving business objectives. The successful candidate will manage a broad and multifaceted portfolio, requiring the professional versatility to support both a large scale blue collar technical workforce and a corporate white collar professional cohort. We are looking for an HR professional who can fluidly adjust their interpersonal style providing pragmatic, \"on-the-ground\" support in industrial environments while delivering high level strategic advice to executive stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent planning, and remuneration.
* Lead the business through significant transformational periods. Proven experience in driving organisational change, managing workforce transitions, and maintaining engagement during periods of restructure is essential.
* Support the delivery of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and lead complex employee relations matters within a regulated framework. Experience in bargaining and industrial negotiations is highly regarded.
* Drive succession planning, competency assessments, and leadership development to foster an agile, inclusive, and high performance culture.
Expertise & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of commercial acumen and emotional intelligence, with the ability to challenge leadership when necessary while maintaining a collaborative approach.
Experience & Knowledge
* Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or Senior HRBP role.
* Demonstrated experience managing both blue and white collar workforces, with a proven ability to vary communication and engagement strategies accordingly.
* Significant experience in complex change management and conflict resolution.
* Expertise in Industrial Relations, specifically experience with EBA processes and bargaining, is a distinct advantage.
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Law, or Psychology (Essential). Post-graduate qualifications (Desirable).
* Strong consulting and influencing skills, with the ability to resolve high level service issues.
* Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, cost focused environment.
Operational Presence & Work Location
This role supports our primary business locations. To maintain an effective partnership with our client groups, you must be willing and able to maintain a consistent presence at both our Richmond and Bankstown offices. Please ensure you have considered the commute to these Western Sydney locations, as on site engagement across both facilities is a core requirement of the position.
