Align Talent has been engaged to recruit a qualified or part‐qualified Accountant for a market‐leading medical research and clinical trials company based in the inner suburbs. The business consists of a diverse range of complementary offerings and is enjoying a strong period of financial growth. They have an impressive pipeline of work and are managing several exciting projects.
The Role
You will be part of a small team of high‐performing professionals. You will report into the CFO and work closely with the wider business. It's a hands‐on role – you will be heavily involved in the month‐end process as well as taking some ownership of the AP and AR functions. There is significant scope for personal and professional development for the right candidate. Diverse in nature, the role will cover a range of duties. It is available on a permanent full‐time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Month‐end close and reporting
* Preparing management reports
* Maintaining fixed assets
* Payroll
* Monthly invoicing
* Accounts receivable
* Accounts payable including weekly payment runs
* Bank reconciliations
* Journal entries
* Dealing with supplier queries
Down the track, there could be scope to take on additional duties, including involvement in an ERP implementation.
The Successful Candidate

* CA/CPA qualified or at least part‐qualified
