Delivering Exceptional Palliative Care and Medical Services
Our Clinical Nurse Consultant will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and clinical services across our Palliative Care and Medical Units.
Key Responsibilities:
* Apply specialized knowledge of palliative care and medical nursing practice to deliver patient-centered consultancy and clinical care.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices, protocols, and guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and education programs to enhance clinical excellence.
* Contribute to the development of clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote best practice.
Essential Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience and extensive palliative care and medical experience.
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Registered Midwife with the relevant healthcare authority.
* Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
* Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex clinical issues.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
* Vaccinated against vaccine-preventable diseases.
