Thiess is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter at our Peak Downs Mine in Moranbah.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful applicants will join a passionate and energetic team at Peak Downs where they will be responsible for providing technical knowledge, support and assistance to Thiess’ maintenance operations. The role will also provide an opportunity to expand your maintenance technical skills and become a leader in the mechanical field.

- Annual salary $144,058 - $149,723 dependent upon experience

- As an added bonus, Thiess are currently offering additional 'Out of Market Payments' of up to $776 per fortnight plus super for successful candidates.

ABOUT YOU
- Heavy diesel fitting trade
- Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
- Experience with Liebherr Excavators, CAT 797 and 789 Trucks would be an advantage
- Experience in general maintenance, tyre fitting, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing mining equipment
- Current Standard 11
- Relevant coal mining certifications
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
