Hirsch Wine Group is a leading wine production business based in the Yarra Valley, managing an esteemed portfolio of brands and offering full-service bottling and packaging solutions for clients across Victoria. With a purpose-built facility and one of the most advanced automated bottling lines in the region, we're looking for an experienced Bottling Assistant to join our bottling operations and help drive efficiency, quality, and team performance.
As a Bottling Line Assistant, you'll play an important part in ensuring our wines are bottled, labeled, and packaged to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a passion for quality.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the setup, operation, and shutdown of bottling line equipment.
* Load bottles, corks, caps, capsules, and labels into the line.
* Inspect bottles for quality, ensuring fill levels, closures, and labels are correct.
* Pack and palletize finished product for storage or distribution.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bottling area.
* Follow workplace health, safety, and food handling procedures.
* Work collaboratively with the production and winemaking teams.

What You'll Bring:
* Previous experience in bottling, packaging, or winery operations is desirable but not essential (full training provided).
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
* Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting cartons (up to ~20kg).
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
* Flexible and willing to work overtime during peak bottling periods.
* Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
