Child Psychology & Assessments is a growing mobile psychology service supporting children and adolescents across Melbourne's South‐Eastern suburbs. We work in environments where young people feel most comfortable — schools, homes, and the community — allowing for meaningful, real‐world therapeutic outcomes.
We're looking for a Child & Adolescent Psychologist who values flexibility, autonomy, and community‐based practice.
The Role
* Provide therapy and counselling to children and adolescents.
* Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
* Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals.
* Work across schools and homes rather than a clinic setting.
* Contract, remote position.
Why Work With Us?
* Autonomy & Flexibility – choose your own hours, decide how many days per week and client load.
* Community‐Based Work – travel around the community for sessions; no clinic room or back‐to‐back office days.
* Competitive Contractor Split – 70/30 split in your favour (70% of session and travel fees).
* Admin Support – scheduling and coordination handled for you.
Qualifications
* Registered Psychologist with AHPRA.
* Experience working with children and/or adolescents.
* Strong assessment, therapy, and communication skills.
* Comfortable working independently in community settings.
* Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable car (essential).
* Experience in school or child‐focused settings is highly regarded.
