Project Manager Role Overview
To meet the changing needs of our rapidly growing population, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a diverse range of projects from our Capital Works Program.
These projects will have varying degrees of complexity and value, requiring land acquisition and service relocations. The majority will be civil in nature, but the successful candidate must be versatile and able to deliver minor building and landscape projects when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project planning and development, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
* Procurement management, contract negotiation, and administration.
* Construction oversight, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
* Communication with stakeholders, project reporting, and status updates.
* Budget management, tracking, and financial acquittal.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A strong background in project management duties, including team leadership and collaboration.
