Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Haulage Transport Manager to oversee our interstate road trains, local heavy haulage operations in South Australia, and interstate. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing the transport of machinery, including excavators, dump trucks, skid steers, rollers, loaders, and other heavy plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate interstate road trains and local heavy haulage operations
* Manage the transport of machinery, ensuring safe and efficient delivery
* Lead and support a team of experienced drivers and logistics staff
* Plan routes, permits, and schedules, balancing efficiency, compliance, and safety
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in heavy haulage or machinery transport management
* Strong knowledge of NHVR, OHS, and oversize load and compliance regulations
* Practical understanding of loading, securing, and moving heavy plant safely
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
