About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance Coordinator to join their Perth team in a newly created role. This role is pivotal in driving quality excellence across their operations, with a focus on ensuring compliance, fostering continuous improvement, and delivering value through collaboration and data-driven insights.
You will lead QA initiatives and conduct GMP walks to maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. You'll manage internal and external audits (including ISO 9001), oversee batch release testing, and ensure lab equipment remains calibrated. The role also involves investigating customer complaints, performing root cause analyses, delivering data-driven quality reports, and driving continuous improvement projects in collaboration with
cross-functional teams.
Skills and experience
* 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance within any manufacturing industry.
* Bachelor's degree in quality, Engineering, Food Science or similar.
* Deep understanding of GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.
* Experience with auditing, root cause analysis and batch release.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to build relationships and influence across departments.
* Lead auditor certification (desirable).
